I&C Engineering Coordinator
1 Overall Job Purpose
1.1 Coordinate with Construction Year and communicate with Singapore team. Work closely with the Lead I&C engineer to manage, control, approve the I&C drawings generated by construction yard effectively and efficiently according to project technical requirements, timelines, and budget.
2 Core Responsibilities
2.1 Works independently to perform the assigned task and develops a solution to technical/engineering and related problems by analyzing the issue or data, contact with Singapore team in case any doubt.
2.2 Understand the I&C design basis, project requirements including HSSE, scope, schedule, quality requirements, client and class requirements and project execution plan.
2.3 Understand MODEC corporate specifications, apply it to design and meet the project-specific requirements.
2.4 Familiar with Instrument Installation Standard and Process and Pneumatic Hook-up standard drawings and modify them where required to meet the project requirement.
2.5 Provides technical /engineering support and advice to Construction work, respond to Technical Queries, review technical documents, and follow up to rectify the gaps or problems. Where necessary, provides off-site support.
2.6 Participates in meetings with construction and integration sites, reviews progress and addresses interface/implementation/execution issues, escalates where necessary to ensure that the project proceed timely and smoothly.
2.7 Verify actual site/vendor equipment condition. In case it is not match with engineering drawing, feedback to Singapore team with redline markup drawings for approval.
2.8 Closely communicate with the site team, inter-discipline communication, internal and external stake holders.
2.9 Good in 3D Model review, can identify site installation issue if the location is different with 3D module, feedback to Singapore team or ESC for concurrence and update.
2.10 Ensure MOC can be implemented properly at Construction yard as per corporate/project procedures, provide the necessary evidence as part of MOC close report.
2.11 Coordinates with engineering contractor to identify the issues found in their deliverable document/drawings and get agreement for design change to suit site condition.
2.12 Shares the experience and lesson learnt item with Singapore team for future improvement.
2.13 Reports to I&C Section Lead for Corporate matters and I&C Lead Engineer for project related matters. Responsible to mentor Engineers in project. Provides review and evaluation on technical proposal from subcontractors/vendors in consultation with I&C Lead Engineer.

Qualifications & Experience
3.1 Educational Qualification:
Bachelor in Engineering or Master of Engineering. Instrument and auto control major is preferable.
3.2 Relevant Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Instrumentation and Control in the oil and gas sector, preferably in FPSO or Offshore processing facilities.
3.3 Language(s) and Software:
